Lobbying has become a concept that we often hear in our everyday life. Groups that convene for various objectives in a country as well as the activities of those groups are referred as lobbying. The concepts of lobby and lobbying comes from the group constituted of former parliamentarians in the congress building in America. Lobbying activities which exist in all areas from state administration to social development in the United States of America is considered as an important concept in terms of collaboration in the rest of the world.

The act of lobbying, which is also commonly referred as "exertion of influence through intermediaries”, is a feature required under the 21st century dynamics. Individuals who use their social power when entering into a new collaboration are considered to achieve more effective results thanks to such power. Moreover, lobbying acts are known to be reducing bureaucracy, leading to more sound operation of decision making mechanisms.
One must use experience in this field to take the right steps in lobbying, which is a legitimate factor of politics and business in the USA, and to prepare a foundation for strong collaborations. Which instruments should be used in lobbying then? What is the most effective method in lobbying?
First of all, we should clarify that lobbying does not mean bribing and favoritism. Since influencing a certain interest group in favor of yourself is a legitimate action, using different instruments based on a specific situation and time would be the most effective method.
